The fourth-ranked Missouri Tigers rode another dominating pitching performance on their way to their 13th-straight victory, completing the sweep of No. 14 Baylor by run-ruling the Bears, 12-2 in the series finale on Sunday at Taylor Stadium. At 18-2 on the year, Mizzou holds its all-time best record after 20 games.

The sweep by the Tigers is the first series sweep by either team in the MU-BU all-time series.

Sophomore Kyle Gibson collected his fifth victory in as many starts this season, going seven innings while giving up just two unearned runs on four hits and striking out nine. The Tigers outscored the Bears 22-2 in three games this weekend.

The Missouri Softball team moved to 2-0 in Big 12 Conference play as it topped Oklahoma State 3-0 Saturday at University Field. Tiger junior Stacy Delaney, pitched seven scoreless innings, allowing only one hit while striking out eight Cowgirl batters in her first Big 12 start to help the Tigers to their 23rd win in the last 24 games.

Delaney gave up a hit to cowgirl designated player Megan Castle in the second inning, but was nearly flawless from there.
