3-3 Looper.jpg Braden Looper made his first start of the spring and went three innings allowing one earned run on three hits.  The Cardinals lost 3-2 to Washington.  Troy Glaus had two of the teams 8 hits, but the Redbirds left 13 men on base and struck out 8 times against National pitchers.

The Cardinals didn’t get on the board until the 7th inning thanks to an RBI single by Skip Schumaker.  The Cards also picked up an unearned run in the inning.
