SEMO's Johnny Hill Southeast Missouri State men’s basketball team could have a player’s eligibility in question.  Johnny Hill is a sophomore guard playing for the Redhawks and the SEMO athletic department is looking into his eligibility related to a St. Louis Post-Dispatch story   that Johnny and his brother Bobby had their housing paid for by  high school coach Floyd Irons while playing for Vashon.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Irons told MSHSAA, the state high school athletic’s association back in November that he paid to house, clothe and feed the two Alton, Illinois brothers so they could play for Vashon.    By NCAA and junior college rules, players cannot be paid directly or indirectly, or they could lose their eligibility.
