Missouri State Highway Patrol numbers say Missouri is still number one in the country in the number of methamphatamine lab seizures.
The Patrol counted 1,285 working and former meth labs seized last year. Indiana and Tennessee were numbers two and three in the national numbers – and their totals added together are still fewer than Missouri’s numbers.
The biggest meth counties are Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Francois.
