Franklin County Sheriff’s officers say a witness watched a 7-year-old boy drag a bag of garbage from a motel room to a dumpster and watched as an adult helped the boy lift the bag into the container. The bag contained toxic waste from a meth lab.
A few minutes later, officers who stormed the room. They found two adults making meth in the hotel bathroom. And they found four children, six months to 7 years old in the room with the adults.
The couple is charged with four charges of child endangerment and with possessing chemicals to make methamphetamine.
