Governor Matt Blunt’s decision to not seek reelection has left, unanswered, many questions about current and future transportation projects.

State Transportation Director Pete Rahn acknowledges Governor Blunt has been very supportive of roads projects and other transportation issues. Rahn says there could be difficulty moving forward until the next Governor is elected. He adds the State Transportation Department stands ready to discuss transportation issues and concerns with any of the candidates for Governor.
