Brandon Foust, a key player on this year’s Southeast Missouri Redhawks basketball team, injured his right knee and will be lost for the year, thus ending his college career.

He hurt his knee during Saturday’s battle for first play in the Ohio Valley Conference against Austin Peay.   He had an MRI done Monday morning to confirm the damage to his knee that will require surgery.

Foust was a pre-season All-conference pick and was second on the Redhawks in scoring at 11.6 ppg and he led the team in rebounding at 6.4 rpg.
