The Missouri State Bears, playing on national television on ESPN 2, jumped out to a fast start and cruised to a 71-47 win over Wichita State.  The Bears led by as many as 27 points in the game, as the Bears defense shut down the Shockers holding them to shooting 28% from the floor while coming up with seven blocked shots and seven steals.
Senior Dale Lamberth who did not start for the first time this season, played 27 minutes and scored 27 points as he was 10-15 from the floor including 6-9 from three point range.
The Bears, 9-7 2-2 in the MVC will take on surprise league leading Drake this Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa.
