There’s no doubt that junior tight end Chase Coffman is going to play in the NFL. The question is when. That may not be until after his senior. I know a lot of reports had Coffman leaving early, NFLdraftscout.com had Coffman listed as high as a third round pick, but after injuring his ankle in the Kansas game and being limited in the Big 12 championship game, his stock has dipped a bit. Coffman will be able to play in the Cotton Bowl, but will need surgery after the game. All indications are pointing toward Coffman returning for his senior season.
