The Northwest Missouri State Bearcats are playing for the championship in Florence Alabama. It will be the third year in a row that the Bearcats will make the trip, and fifth time under head coach Mel Tjeerdsma. They beat Grand Valley State at home on Saturday, the Lakers had beaten the Bearcats in the last two finals. I found a great youtube video of the Northwest fans tearing the goal posts down as 7,000 fans braved the freezing rain and wind.
