Mizzou Pulls Out Sloppy Win
The Missouri Tigers shooting for much of the second half was cold and sloppy like the weather, yet the Tigers found a way to win 73-63 over the Purdue Boilermakers, keeping their non-conference record flawless at home under head coach Mike Anderson.
Leading 44-36 at the half, the Tigers turned the ball over four times to start the second half and Purdue used a 13-0 run to open up a 59-49 lead. Missouri would go on a 22-3 run in the final 7:20 of the game to come up with the win and snap the Tigers two game losing streak.
Missouri, now 6-3 on the season.
Bulger Out, Berlin In
Rams quarterback Marc Bulger will be out of the lineup Sunday at Cincinnati. He had a setback on Thursday during team meetings as he continues to have complications from his concussion.
It was decided on Saturday that Bulger will miss the game and it could be longer. Brock Berlin will get his first NFL start in Bulger’s place.
