Senator Kit Bond (R-MO) says he is moving his top staffer from Washington to Columbia to improve the office’s state operations.
Chief of Staff Brian Klippenstein will replace Jason Van Eaton who is moving to Bond’s political arm along with Western Missouri District Director Matt Roney. Bond won’t be up for re-election until 2010, but his staffers will be active in other Republican candidate campaigns.
