Offensive lineman Claude Terrell is no longer a member of the St. Louis Rams. Terrell, who was arrested early Tuesday morning in Webster, Texas, and charged with assault-family violence, has been cut by the team.
A team official says Terrell was released for his performance on the field . Jay Zygmunt, the Rams’ President of Football Operations-General Manager, says the decision to cut Terrell had been contemplated for a while.
The 25-year-old Terrell has had his problems with team officials this season and last. Earlier in the season he was fined for showing up late to a team meeting.
