Some of Lisa Montgomery’s relatives say she had them convinced she was pregnant before she was charged with killing Bobbi Jo Stinett in Skidmore and cutting Stinett’s unborn daughter out of her body.

Among those testifying in the second day of the defense’s case – the parents of her husband – who say they never doubted Montgomery’s story that she was pregnant. Mother-in-law Joy Montgomery says they thought Montgomery’s mother was just trying to stir up trouble by telling them a pregnancy was impossible. Montgomery had had a tubal ligation several years earlier.
