A school bus carrying members of the Viburnum high school volleyball team has overturned near Lesterville. All 31 people aboard were taken to hospitals for treatment or evaluation. None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening although one 14-year old girl was airlifted to a hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries.
The State Highway Patrol says the bus went off the road, overturned when it came back onto the road, hit a tree and came to rest on its wheels.
