Attorney General Jay Nixon says he will return individual campaign contributions that exceed the state contributions limit.
The State Supreme Court has restored the limit, throwing out a law that allowed unlimited amounts to be given. Nixon says he sees no hardship in returning the funds, although his fund-raising is behind the fund-raising of Governor Matt Blunt.
Governor Blunt says he has not decided if he will argue to keep the money he has raised.
