Friday is the deadline for Missouri’s non-profit organizations and businesses to file their annual reports with Secretary of State Robin Carnahan’s office.

Failure to file on time will result in a $5 late fee being assessed. In addition, failure to file the annual report by November 30th will result in the business being administratively dissolved under Missouri law.

The exception to Friday’s filing deadline is for non profit corporations that have filed articles of incorporation in the current calendar year. They won’t have to file until August 31st of next year.

The fee for paper filings is $15.  Non-profits can save a bit of money by filing online. That fee is $10.
