Hundreds of people have gathered for three services in southwest Missouri to memorialize three leaders of the Micronesian community murdered in a church shooting August 12th.

More than one-thousand people attended the funeral in Anderson on Saturday. A service of life and thanksgiving was held at the church in Neosho yesterday afternoon drew about 200. A second service was held at Neosho Middle School to honor the Micronesian community, the victims, and the law enforcement and emergency workers who responded to the incident.

All three of the victims were ministers or associate ministers of the Micronesian congregation that meets in Neosho’s Congregational Church.
