Cardinals lefty Mark Mulder will make his second start as he rehabs with the Class A Palm Beach Cardinals.
Pitching coach Dave Duncan said Mulder will have at least one start against a higher-level minor league team before they consider him joining the team and the rotation.
This could be a huge shot in the arm for the Cardinal’s rotation that has pitched better over the last couple of weeks.
