Two state legislators face charges in connection with a visit to the Isle of Capri Casino in Boonville.  Senator Jeff Smith (D-St. Louis) has been accused of illegally entering a casino by using false identification.

State Representative Joe Aull (D-Marshall) admits he used his driver’s license to get an entrance card that he gave to Smith. Smith says he used Aull’s card at the urging of a lobbyist for the casino who was hosting a gathering for state lawmakers.

Entering a casino with somebody else’s card is a misdemeanor.
