A Kansas City man who had held positions with organizations working with child abuse victims and latchkey children has been convicted of trafficking in child pornography and sentenced to 15 years in prison. Parole will not be possible for Kevin Richardson, who will be on supervised probation for at least ten years after he finishes his sentence.
The federal prosecutor learned after Richardson was indicted that he had met the daughter of a Kansas City police officer online and had enticed her to have sex with him.
