Two people are charged in Jackson County with kidnapping a woman nine months pregnant with plans to cut her fetus out of her and leave her for dead.
Authorities in Blue Springs say the woman was lured to a Blue Springs motel room to get some free baby clothing. One of the women charged had told her sister she had just had a baby boy. But police say there’s no indication she had ever been pregnant.
The kidnapped woman was not physically harmed.
