The St. Louis Blues introduced free agent signee Paul Kariya to the media and fans yesterday in what’s been a very busy off season for the Blues, on the heels of bringing back Keith Tkachuk, the Blues now bring along Kariya who has 866 points in 821 NHL games.

President of hockey operations, John Davidson said when he and the rest of the Blues brass discussed finding an impact player, Kariya was a no brainer.

Paul Kariya said all the things you would expect a new signee to say, but for a 32 year old veteran to want to play for the Blues says to me at least, that he thinks this team can truly have success right away.
