It was St. Louis that jumped out to an early lead and rode a strong pitching performance to a 7-3 win over Kansas City in game two of the I-70 series at Kaufmann Stadium.  The Royals took game one of the set in a very similar manner.  Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright took a no-hitter into the sixth inning while tossing eight scoreless on 1 hit to get the victory. Albert Pujols drove in three runs to lead the Cards offense.  The lone runs for KC came on a Alex Gordon three-run shot in the ninth. Odalis Perez was roughed up in the loss, giving up seven runs, six earned, on 10 hits with a pair of walks in just three-plus innings.
