The students and their teachers won’t get ot go in person. But their signatures will take a ride on the Space Shuttle sometime soon.
A poster with the signatures of about 600 fifth and sixth-graders and faculty members at the Branson Intermediate Elementary School will be sent up on a shuttle mission. NASA will decide which mission will carry the poster later. NASA says the program is designed to let students feel a personal involvement with the crew and its mission.
The poster will be returned for permanent display at the school.
