No doubt about it this time – the Senate votes to license midwifes.
Sponsor John Loudon (R-Chesterfield) had been accused of deceiving fellow lawmakers by sneaking his bill into another bill last week without telling anyone he’d done it.
This time he openly grafted it onto another bill and the Senate approved it 23-11. The senate continues to debate the bill to which the amendment has been added.
