The St. Louis Cardinals even their three game series with the Colorado Rockies, beating the Rockies 4-1 Tuesday at Busch Stadium.

The Rockies got on the board first with a run in the 3 rd inning on a Matt Holliday home run and held the lead until the bottom of the 7 th inning when the Redbirds scored four runs to take the lead for good. Reliever Kelvin Jiminez (1-0) pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to pick up the win.  Jason Isringhausen came in in the 9 th to pick up his ninth save.

The Cards and Rockies play again Wednesday afternoon at Busch Stadium, with Adam Wainwright (2-2) pitching against Colorado’s Jason Hirsh (2-2).
