Some parts of Missouri have been drenched by heavy rains, with some hail and high winds thrown in, too. Several communities have reported flash flooding. Some highways were closed.

The National Weather Service reports Harrisonville had three feet of water across one major street. The National Weather Service also reported most of the town of Stanberry, in Gentry County, flooded. A Boone County subdivision had two feet of water in it.

Winds caused some damage to three barns in St. Clair County, near Appleton City.

At least two water rescues took place in Kansas City.
