The Kansas City-St. Joseph Catholic Diocese and two former priests have settled a sexual abuse lawsuit for $60,000. A man now in his 50s says the priests molested him when he was 14 and the diocese covered up their behavior for years.
The two former priests are named in several other pending sex abuse lawsuits. One of the priests resigned nine years ago. The other retired in 2002 and has been told he can no longer work as a priest.
