Missouri had no answer for Aleks Maric as the senior center dominated the paint with 31 points and 19 rebounds in Nebraska’s 82-77 overtime win versus Mizzou.

Maric nailed five of six free throws down the stretch to seal the victory for the Huskers. There were 13 lead changes in the game, but Maric hit a pair of free throws to break a 75-75 tie and give the game its last lead change.

Nebraska completed the season sweep over Mizzou who fell from fifth to sixth in the Big 12 Conference standings.

The Tigers had three chances to tie the game in the last 18 seconds of OT, but Marshall Brown bricked from behind the arc, Keon Lawrence did the same after grabbing Brown’s rebound, then Brown bricked again trying to shoot over the outstretched hands of a 6-foot-11 Maric.

Four players finished in double-figure scoring for the Tigers led by Stefhon Hannah’s 17 points. Mizzou hosts Colorado Wednesday.
