Saint Louis University defended its home court with a 66-56 win over Dayton Wednesday night. Kevin Lisch paved the way for the Billikens with 22 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range. The win was the 17 th of the season for SLU which surpasses last year’s victory total.

Dayton started out hot hitting on six of its first eight shots and taking a 13-6 lead, but SLU weathered the storm with a 14-0 run that saw five different Billikens score.

The Billikens were able to keep pace the rest of the way and pull out the Atlantic-10 Conference victory. Ian Vouyoukas scored 12 points and Tommie Liddell added 11 points and a game-high six assists for the Billikens.

SLU upped their record to 17-10 overall and 7-6 in the conference. They will travel to UMASS on Saturday.
