There is probably no team in the NHL hotter than the Blues right now. St. Louis went into the All-Star break winners of three straight and nine of their last 12. Bill Guerin?s goal 1:09 into overtime helped the Blues extend that streak with a 2-1 win over Detroit.

Guerin scored his 21st goal of the season taking a rebound off the pads of Red Wings goalie Chris Osgood and slipped into the net for the win.

Both teams scored regulation goals in the second period. Ryan Johnson ? playing for the first time since separating his shoulder and sitting out 12 games ? scored for the fifth time this season to give the Blues a 1-0 lead.

Detroit tied the game less than two minutes later on a goal from Johan Franzen.

The Blues look to continue their hot streak tonight against Nashville in St. Louis.
