The Blues are movin’ on up and enjoying the good times. St. Louis blanked the Sharks 1-0 Saturday, completing a four-game road trip in which the Blues won three games. The only loss on the trip was a shootout loss to Phoenix.

Manny Legace was exceptional in the net for the Notes stopping 31 shots for his third shutout this season and 16th of his career.

Bill Guerin scored the lone goal of the game. Guerin wrapped around the goal and snuck the puck past San Jose goalie Evgeni Nabokov with 1:24 left in the second period.

The win put the Blues in the playoff picture after starting the season poorly. Since Mike Kitchen was replaced as head coach by Andy Murray, St. Louis is 12-4-4. They have 46 points, good enough for 11th place in the Western Conference.
