Senator Christopher Bond warns Senator Hilary Clinton is crossing dangerous ground in her push to block the President’s plan for sending 20-thousand more troops to Iraq. Clinton just announced in a Washington press conference that she wants to limit the number of troops sent to Iraq and send them to Afghanistan instead – where she says Pakistan is an increasing threat. Bond simply says Clinton doesn’t have the authority to make that call.”I don’t think that she is the secretary of defense of the commander in chief,” Bond said. “I think that her effort is designed to forward some other ambitions.”Clinton calls for Iraq to fulfill its promises before the U.S. sends more resources to Iraq. Furthermore, she calls for focusing on the terrorist group responsible for the September 11 attacks on the U.S. The New York senator just recently returned from a trip to Iraq.
