Chicago erased a third-period deficit and ended the Blues’ eight-game point streak with a 4-1 win Tuesday night.

The Blackhawks scored all four goals in the final period, but three of them came in a span of 3:23. Manny Legace was well on his way to recording his second straight shutout before Martin Havlat, Petr Bondra, and Jeff Hamilton helped Chicago overcome a 1-0 deficit. Martin Lapointe added an empty-net goal late in the game for insurance.

Keith Tkachuk scored the lone goal for the Blues, the third consecutive game he’s put one in the net.

St. Louis doesn’t have to wait very long for revenge. The two teams are scheduled to meet again in St. Louis Thursday.
