President George W. Bush has approved a major disaster declaration for the parts of Missouri hit by winter storms in late November. The Governor had asked for declaration, saying clean-up is still underway in some areas, more than a month after the storm hit. The declaration is for the city and county of St. Louis as well as the counties of Boone, Cole, Grene, Iron, Reynolds, St. Francis, and Sainte Genevieve.
