Sophomore sensation Tyler Hansbrough helped lead No. 2 North Carolina over host Saint Louis University 69-48 Friday night. Hanbrough, a native of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, poured in a team-high 15 points to go along with 13 rebounds.

SLU kept it close in the first half, at one point leading by six. But UNC increased its one-point halftime lead by going on an 18-4 run early in the second half.

Ian Vouyoukas finished with 14 points and 13 boards for the Billikens, whose record dropped to 9-3 on the season. Tommie Liddell added 13 points for Saint Louis.

The Bills are now off until next Saturday, when they will take on Ole’ Miss at Scottrade Center.
