Priest Holmes’ season could come to a conclusion at the end of this week. Holmes has spent this season on the physically-unable-to-perform list. According to NFL rules, Holmes must return to practice this week if he plans on suiting up for the Chiefs.
All indication points towards Holmes not returning. The Chiefs have certainly made a move towards the future implanting Larry Johnson as the starter and signing Michael Bennett in the off-season. Holmes also took a significant pay cut and has not been around the team facilities all year.
Holmes is still recovering from a neck injury suffered last season.
