A survey of campaign fundraising reports shows a public employees’ union has contributed almost one-third of the money raised in the last quarter by a group pushing for an increase in the state minimum wage. The group, Give Missourians a Raise, says it has raised more than $600,000 in the campaign – about $350,000 of that in the last three months. Included in the donations is $100,000 from the American Federation of State, County, and Muncipal Employees – AFSCME. The opposition, Save Our State’s Jobs, is funded mostly by an association of restaurants, without Outback Steakhouse providing almsot 40 percent of the money it has raised.
