University of Missouri cornerback Domonique Johnson has to be one happy man right now. After suffering what was diagnosed as an ACL tear in the conference opener against Colorado, Johnson thought he would have to miss the rest of the season. An operation to fix the knee ligament Tuesday showed that the ligament was not torn but merely strained.

The good news for Johnson and the Missouri defense is that he should be able to get back on the field for the Tigers homecoming game Oct. 21 against Kansas State.
