St. Louis School Superintendent Diana Bourisaw is no longer an interim Superintendent. The St. Louis School Board has dropped “interim” from her title, making her position permanent. But not without controversy. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that School Board President Veronica O’Brien worked behind the scenes to ensure she had the votes to approve the change, not telling four board members about the move. O’Brien sees nothing wrong with the move, telling the newspaper, “The Board operated the way a board should operate.”
