A peace activist from St.Louis is one of three people convicted of vandalizing a Minuteman-2 missile silo in South Dakota. Carl Kabat and the others admit they dressed up as clowns, broke into the missile site and spray-painted messages and splattered blood on the site. They also used hammers to pound on the lid of the silo.Prosecutors say the three men caused $14,000 worth of damage. Kabat and the others are members of Nukewatch, a group based in Wisconsin. A judge has sent them to jail until they are sentenced because they said they would not obey the rules of a halfway house.
