It was only for two games, but the Indians managed to get a rare series sweep under its belt.

Jorge De La Rosa pitched the necessary five innings to get the win and Emil Brown chipped in with two hits and two RBI as the Royals knocked off the Tribe 6-2. Shane Costa had a good day at the plate as well with three hits.

De La Rosa held Cleveland to two runs on four hits for the win. He gave up a home run to Grady Sizemore but looked good otherwise. Cleveland scored another run in the third inning to take a 2-0 lead.

Kansas City evened the score at 2-2 with a four-hit fourth inning. Three straight singles by Brown, Costa, and Ryan Shealy set the stage. Joey Gathright singled in a run during the rally; he had two RBI on the night.
