The Royals won their second straight series Sunday, defeating the White Sox 7-3. Left-hander Mark Redman limited Chicago to one run on four hits in seven innings, as Kansas City has taken their last two series from playoff-contending teams.

They won two out of three in Minnesota before doing the same to Chicago. Ryan Shealy and Angel Berroa each homered and drove in three runs apiece.

Redman’s win was his ninth on the year. Freddy Garcia took the loss for Chicago.
