One of the politicians being mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2008 is in Missouri today. Former U.S. Senator John Edwards of North Carolina, the Democratic vice presidential candidate in 2004, takes part in a Labor Day labor rally, this afternoon, in Springfield. At the event, he’ll join Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Claire McCaskill in expressing support for an increase in the minimum wage.
