The Cardinals saw their lead in the National League’s Central division climb to five games thanks to a come-from-behind win over the Marlins. Once Florida starter Dontrelle Willis exited the game after seven innings, St. Louis’ offense took over.

Trailing 2-1 entering the bottom of the eighth, the Redbirds pushed four runs across to take the lead. Chris Duncan homered for the 15th time this season, and Scott Rolen drove in the winning run.

Braden Looper picked up the win while Jason Isringhausen worked a scoreless ninth for the save.
