The main candidates in Missouri’s U.S. Senate race have agreed to a debate. Incumbent Republican Senator Jim Talent and Democrat challenger Claire McCaskill will take part in a televised debate from Springfield on October 16th. Talent and McCaskill are also scheduled to meet at the Missouri Press Association’s Candidates’ Forum on September 15th at Lake Ozark. And, they will take part in a debate, from Washington, D.C., on NBC’s “Meet the Press” on October 8th.
