The Cardinals manhandled the Cubs pitching en route to an 11-3 win, Friday.
St. Louis got a home run from Chris Duncan in the first inning. Newcomer Preston Wilson and Gary Bennett added two more in the sixth. The Cards hit three homers in the seventh. Albert Pujols and Scott Rolen hit back-to-back shots followed by a two-run dinger by Ronnie Belliard.
The win was the first for St. Louis at Wrigley Field this season.
