The Mayor of St. Peters has been indicted on a federal bribery charge.. St. Peters is a city of more than 50-thousand people in St. Charles County. The charge against Mayor Shawn Brown says he demanded a kickback from a company providing the city with digital redlight and speeding enforcement systems. The charge says he threatened to veto a city council ordinance awarding the contract to Redflex Incorporated of Scottsdale, Arizona…unless the company paid him. -bp-
