The oldest player to ever bat in a professional baseball game is set to be released from the hospital today.
Former Kansas City Monarch Buck O’Neil was admitted Saturday after complaining of being tired. The 94-year-old made an appearance during an Independent League All-Star game and recently spoke during the Major League Baseball Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
